GREAT MEN ARE KNOWN FOR SPECIFICS

Hi friends,
Have you noticed that when  you inquire about someone, usually the first question that follows is “What does the person do?” I don’t  hear people ask, “What did they study?” Or “Where does their parent work?”
Great people are known for what they do, they are known for the specifics. So I ask, like the rest of the world will ask you in time,
“What are you doing with your life?”
You’re that girl with the canary voice waiting to get signed by a famous record label before the world can hear you?
Your are the man that can pencil life on paper but then also waiting for recognition from the best art gallery in france. Really?

I hear you are an excellent face artist but you remain low-keyed while awaiting shipment of the best brands of materials before you begin work.
Someone told me about you, a creative writer is what you are but your creativity has to be checked by a maestro before it goes out abi?
My friend you good with this sewing thing but you dey wait for big brand to offer you something. Haha.
And all these excuses go on till infinity.
See, everyone is blessed with a unique talent but we are reluctant to put it out there. We want to start big, with all pomp and splendour, fat rosy bank accounts with little to no labour. We are waiting for a platform. Who doesn’t want sponsorship?  We all do. The large start will help but that is not the only way. In fact, that is not even remotely the first step to greatness.

Why do we despise days of little  beginnings? Yes, let people laugh. They can. They will.
We can be more only if we try. Start from some where. If you can imagine it, it can happen for you. You don’t need the whole world before you start up something for yourself. Starting small may seem like a waste of time as it may not pay off as much as you’d like but don’t stop now, keep the passionate flame alive.
Even the POTUS, Barrack Obama started out like everyone else. I got to see some throw back pictures of him and it was hilarious.
One day a seed was planted and it was nurtured  till it became a tree that produced good fruits, and then everyone called it a fruitful tree.
Little drops make an ocean. The little points of lights in the sky are actually big stars.
Nothing is too small to grow.
