Article – Zino Scroll https://zinoscroll.com.ng Unrolling the truth... Wed, 30 Mar 2022 18:40:50 +0000 en-US hourly 1 https://wordpress.org/?v=6.1.10 https://zinoscroll.com.ng/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/IMG_20200409_144557.jpg Article – Zino Scroll https://zinoscroll.com.ng 32 32 95542798 Pay Attention, Your Results don’t lie. https://zinoscroll.com.ng/pay-attention-your-results-dont-lie/ https://zinoscroll.com.ng/pay-attention-your-results-dont-lie/#respond Wed, 30 Mar 2022 18:40:50 +0000 https://zinoscroll.com.ng/2022/03/30/pay-attention-your-results-dont-lie/ The easiest, fastest, and best way to find out what is or isn’t working is to pay attention to the results you are currently producing. You are either rich or you are not. You either command respect or you don’t. You are either golfing par or you are not. You are either maintaining your ideal body weight or you are not. You are either happy or you are not. You either have what you want or you don’t. It’s that simple. Results don’t lie!
You have to give up the excuses and justifications and come to terms with the results you are producing. If you are under quota or overweight, all the great reasons in the world won’t change that.
The only thing that will change your results is to change your behavior. Prospect more, get some sales training, change your sales presentation, change your diet, consume fewer calories, and exercise more frequently—these are things that will make a difference. But you have to first be willing to look at the results you are producing. The only starting point that works is reality.
So start paying attention to what is so. Look around at your life and the people in it. Are you and they happy? Is there balance, beauty, comfort, and ease? Do your systems work? Are you getting what you want? Is your net worth increasing? Are your grades satisfactory? Are you healthy, fit, and pain free? Are you getting better in all areas of your life? If not, then something needs to happen, and only you can make it happen.
Don’t kid yourself. Be ruthlessly honest with yourself. Take your own inventory.

Me Time or No Time https://zinoscroll.com.ng/me-time-or-no-time/ https://zinoscroll.com.ng/me-time-or-no-time/#respond Wed, 12 Jan 2022 23:09:24 +0000 https://zinoscroll.com.ng/2022/01/12/me-time-or-no-time/ This year, I want to be deliberate about my ‘me time’.
Life just comes at you with so many balls to joggle at once, and if you are not making conscious effort to have personal time as a glass ball amongst these balls, you’d just be caught up in this “loose yourself web”

Honestly that’s not going to be me most definitely, by His grace.

I have come to understand that really as cliche as it sounds no one is indispensable.
Carry the world on your head at your own risk.
Carry your job on your full chest at your own detriment.
The only thing you’re permitted to carry unashamedly is God.
Yes I always bring God into everything , like Duuurhh  that’s not news.

So with that being said, take time out to take care of yourself.
Your mental health, your mind, your body, your akant (finance).

Be intentional about being at your best.
Bring your A game to every game.

Invest in yourself, learn a skill, read a book,  treat yourself to something/somewhere nice,  nobi only man money you go dey chop this year. Take a course, a solo trip, earn, save.

Look good every day, ladies wear makeup it doesn’t have to  heavy, I got you, check my YouTube channel for “everyday makeup routine tutorial click on the ‘Youtube video
Wear your hair nice, keep your nails clean, Reeeeeesssssstttttttt, this cannot be overly emphasized.  Sleep , eat healthy.
Start that weight loss/fitness journey.

You would have yourself to thank at the end of the day.

The words are self improvement and  Time management.
In these two add intentionality.

I think I have made my point, let me take a bow.
God is our combined strength.
See you in the next blog post.
Love yall Zino-P.

How To Make The Right Decision • https://zinoscroll.com.ng/how-to-make-the-right-decision-%e2%80%a2/ https://zinoscroll.com.ng/how-to-make-the-right-decision-%e2%80%a2/#respond Mon, 09 Aug 2021 06:26:03 +0000 https://zinoscroll.com.ng/?p=1405 What Are the Consequences of Your Decisions?

In the fall of 1982, James Burke, the chairman of Johnson & Johnson, faced the biggest crisis of his career. J&J learned from a reporter that their flagship product, Tylenol, had been linked to seven poisoning deaths in the Chicago area. No one knew how or why the capsules had been poisoned, and Burke didn’t know how widespread the danger to the public might be.

What would you do?

The Bible suggests we should start the decision-making process by considering the potential consequences of our actions. Deuteronomy 28 shows that some actions bring blessings while others bring curses. What actions could Burke take to save his company from potential curses? How could he bless consumers and the Tylenol brand for the future?

Burke quickly considered the consequences of several strategies, with a focus on keeping customers safe. Though it cost Johnson & Johnson $100 million in the short term, Burke convinced J&J shareholders to recall all Tylenol capsules. Burke also directed an expensive media campaign to warn consumers against taking Tylenol until it was deemed safe again.

The effort was costly for Johnson & Johnson in the short term, but it saved the Tylenol brand in the long term. After J&J launched a new tamper-proof packaging, Tylenol quickly regained its lost market share. The public rewarded Burke for the trust he had built up during the crisis through his transparency and ethical decision-making.

When you face a tough ethical dilemma, think about the potential consequences of each of your choices. List all the consequences you can think of, both short term and long term. Does one choice yield more blessing?

Prayer

Lord, give me your insight into the consequences of my choices. Guide me towards blessing and away from curses. Amen.

Ask! Ask! Ask! https://zinoscroll.com.ng/ask-ask-ask/ https://zinoscroll.com.ng/ask-ask-ask/#respond Sun, 25 Apr 2021 17:00:58 +0000 https://zinoscroll.com.ng/?p=1395 Hi z-scrollers, it’s a new day, another new read, welcome back to the blog.
how is every one doing, this isn’t random I honestly want to know so please leave me a comment in the comment section.
So!
History is filled with examples of incredible riches and astounding benefits people have received simply by asking for them. Yet surprisingly, asking—one of the most powerful success principles of all—is still a challenge that holds most people back. If you are not afraid to ask anybody for anything, then skip over this post. But if you are like most people, you may be holding yourself back by not asking for the information, assistance, support, money, and time that you need to fulfill your vision and make your dreams come true.
Why People are Afraid to Ask?, Why are people so afraid to ask? They are afraid of many things such as looking needy, looking foolish, and looking stupid. But mostly they’re afraid of experiencing rejection. They are afraid of hearing the word no.
The sad thing is that they’re actually rejecting themselves in advance. They’re saying no to themselves before anyone else even has a chance to.
Don’t assume that you are going to get a no. Take the risk to ask for whatever you need and want. If they say no, you are no worse off than when you started. If they say yes, you are a lot better off. Just by being willing to ask, you can get a raise, a donation, a room with an ocean view, a discount, a free sample, a date, a better assignment, the order, a more convenient delivery date, an extension, time off, or help with the housework.
We have come to the end of today’s read. I hope you had a nice time reading.
In my next read I’d be sharing a few ways we can ask for what we want.
If you found this blog read interesting and inspiring, please dont keep it to yourself, share it with your friends and keep the scroll moving. I love you all, thank you for your continuous support, I will see you in the next read…peace.

I THINK I’M STUCK https://zinoscroll.com.ng/i-think-im-stuck/ https://zinoscroll.com.ng/i-think-im-stuck/#respond Sun, 06 Sep 2020 17:01:48 +0000 https://zinoscroll.com.ng/?p=1304 You Have to Give up Blaming
If you want to create the life of your dreams, then you are going to have to take 100% responsibility for your life as well. That means giving up all your excuses, all your victim stories, all the reasons why you can’t and why you haven’t up until now, and all your blaming of outside circumstances. You have to give them all up forever.

You have to take the position that you have always had the power to make it different, to get it right, to produce the desired result. For whatever reason—ignorance, lack of awareness, fear, needing to be right, the need to feel safe—you chose not to exercise that power. Who knows why? It doesn’t matter.

The past is the past. All that matters now is that from this point forward you choose—that’s right, it’s a choice—you choose to act as if (that’s all that’s required—to act as if) you are 100% responsible for everything that does or doesn’t happen to you.

All blame is a waste of time. No matter how much fault you find with another, and regardless of how much you blame him, it will not change you.
WAYNE DYER
You will never become successful as long as you continue to blame someone or something else for your lack of success.

If you are going to be a winner, you have to acknowledge the truth—it is you who took the actions, thought the thoughts, created the feelings, and made the choices that got you to where you now are. It was you!

You are the one who ate the junk food.
You are the one who didn’t say no!
You are the one who took the job.
You are the one who stayed in the job.
You are the one who chose to believe them.
You are the one who ignored your intuition.
You are the one who abandoned your dream.
You are the one who bought it.
You are the one who didn’t take care of it.
You are the one who decided you had to do it alone.
You are the one who trusted him.
You are the one who said yes to the dogs.
In short, you thought the thoughts, you created the feelings, you made the choice, you said the words, and that’s why you are where you are now.

Hope you enjoyed this read, if you did kindly  share with your  friends.

Called to love https://zinoscroll.com.ng/called-to-love/ https://zinoscroll.com.ng/called-to-love/#comments Sun, 05 Jul 2020 17:44:40 +0000 https://zinoscroll.com.ng/?p=1274

We’ll never completely agree with another person on everything. Not even our spouse or best friend. Of the nearly eight billion people in the world right now, there’s not a single person like you. That means there won’t be anyone with your exact viewpoint on life, politics, money, relationships, or religion. You are uniquely you, and the person next to you is, too.

Even though we’re all different, we can still love others. Why is it important to love people when we clearly don’t see eye to eye with? Because Jesus said so. He said, “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another” (John 13:34 NIV). When Jesus commanded us to love others, He didn’t say that we had to agree with them first. So, what does love look like?
Love considers others first.
Love looks for the best.
Love shows respect.
Love seeks unity.
Love isn’t selfish.
Love offers the best.
Love displays patience.

Loving others involves pain. Love means giving of yourself. Love means putting your heart out for someone to potentially wound. Love means being selfless and thinking about the needs of others before we think of our own. We’ll never love someone without discomfort accompanying it. It isn’t easy and is sometimes unnatural, but loving others is something we’re called to do as followers of Jesus. Even people we don’t agree with. Especially people we don’t agree with.

There will always be things we have to “agree to disagree on.” It could be the way we do our finances—some of us choose to live debt free, others don’t. It could be when we decide to start or end our day—some of us are early to bed, while others stay up late. Or it could be more serious differences that concern politics, social issues, or current events. Loving others while disagreeing with them at the same time is possible.

John 13:34-35 Roman’s 12:9-19, 1cor 13:4

Cued from youbible devotional.

Zinop: I had alot on my mind a while ago and while I was searching for answers, I came across this devotional and I had to save it and share it with you all. I hope it answers some of those mind bugging questions in our hearts.
