They don’t wear a batch, carry a breast plate or a crested forehead screaming DANGER!
Some people come into your life and you mistake their presence for true love.
But over time you realize, all they have done is drain you( mentally, emotionally ,spiritually, financially)
You look back few years and realize you have lost yourself while being with them.
It suddenly look like you have made no progress at all.
They don’t motivate, support , appreciate or inspire you to be a better version of yourself.
They don’t want you around other people except themselves.
Their words and actions may not be direct, but their influence in your life rubs off negatively.
They have an idea of the person they want you to be, forgetting, Gods got a master plan for your life.
They bruise your ego, diminish your self worth and esteem.
You gradually become a shadow of yourself and you don’t even realize it.
These negative transformation is gradual, the more you show them love, the more they pierce your heart.
Guard your heart with all diligence, the people you allow into your life will have either a negative or positive influence on you. Choose your friends wisely, choose your partner wisely.
No one wants to live a life of regret, forever is too long to perpetually mutter the words “had I known”
Now that you know, watch it, it’s not about how many times they tell you they love you or call you, buy you gifts or take you on shopping spree.
Do they inspire you to be a better person, do they motivate and support you, are you on the same spiritual frequency as you or do you have to remind them of the basic necessities regarding their religion and spiritual life.
Do you share common believes, and doctrines, can they protect you? Are they constantly reminding you of things you’re trying to forget, do they compare you with others in your peer, do they keep you on your toes making you feel like your life should be perfect and you have to live to please them.
Of course no one is perfect, but these are some of the things we should look out for, if you want to live happy and fulfil Destiny.
Think about how far you have come with certain people in your life, you can tell if you are making progress or not. If you keep a journal or diary go through it and check your progress level. Life’s too short to live unfulfilled, and unhappy.
Remember love is kind, love is patient , love keeps no record of wrong, love is forgiving, it has no room for negative energies.
It’s pretty hard to let go, goodbyes are sad but it’s better to be single and happy living your life to please God than being with someone or people that make you compromise your faith, while trying to please them yet they never see the good in you.
