Be aware that nothing ever just “happens” to you. Just like the “yellow alerts” in the old Star Trek television series, you almost always receive advance warnings—in the form of telltale signs, comments from others, gut instinct, or intuition—that alert you to the impending danger and give you time to prevent the unwanted outcome.
You are getting yellow alerts all the time. There are external yellow alerts:
-He keeps coming home later and later with alcohol on his breath.
-The client’s first check bounced.
-He screamed at his secretary.
-His mother warned you.
-Your friends told you.
And there are internal yellow alerts:
That feeling in your stomach That inkling you had That fleeting thought that just maybe… That intuition That fear that emerged That dream that woke you up in the middle of the night. We have a whole language that informs us:
Clues, inklings, suspicions. The handwriting on the wall. I had a feeling that… I could see it coming for a mile.
My gut feeling told me.
These alerts give you time to change your response.
However, too many people ignore the yellow alerts because paying attention to them would require them to do something that is uncomfortable. It is uncomfortable to confront your spouse about the cigarettes in the ashtray that have lipstick on them. It is uncomfortable to speak up in a staff meeting, when you are the only one who feels that the proposed plan won’t work. It is uncomfortable to tell someone you don’t trust them.
So you pretend not to see and not to know because it is easier, more convenient and less uncomfortable, avoids confrontation, keeps the peace, and protects you from having to take risks.
Life Becomes Much Easier
Successful people, on the other hand, face facts squarely. They do the uncomfortable and take steps to create their desired outcomes. Successful people don’t wait for disasters to occur and then blame something or someone else for their problems.
Once you begin to respond quickly and decisively to signals and events as they occur, life becomes much easier. You start seeing improved outcomes both internally and externally. Old internal self-talk such as “I feel like a victim; I feel used; nothing ever seems to work out for me” is replaced with “I feel great; I am in control; I can make things happen.”
External outcomes such as “Nobody ever comes to our store; we missed our quarterly goals;
people are complaining that our new product doesn’t work” are transformed into “We have more money in the bank; I lead the division in sales; our product is flying off the shelves.”

My learners (I’m an early years teacher) have pretty different personalities, as should be , but at their really tender age a number of them are strong willed. They choose their friends! and I have noticed this selection is based off of their energies and vibes. Excluding the social butterfly who just wants to be everyone’s best friend.
I don’t have them seated randomly, I paired them based on certain criteria, yet not every learners seat mate is a friend.
And I just thought to myself, these babies have a pure and genuine heart , yet they are fully aware that the choice of making a friend is theirs to make .
So whats your excuse?
choose your friends, and choose wisely.
Too many sad stories these days about great destinies cut short because of wrong association.
You can tell when a relationship isn’t right, God put that gut feeling, that intuition in us for such a time as these.
The year is still young please end those toxic friendships.
Do not bother about the after effect, everybody go dey alright but you know what, it’s better safe than sorry.
And just maybe you’re the toxic one, let Jesus fix you.
Social media be wild these days, the sad stories too many, new ones springing up by the day, and I’m here thinking to myself some of theses could have been easily averted if we listend to the still small voice, that nudging, those warning signs.
Please, evil communications still corrupts good manners the last time I checked.
It’s not cruise, live right, intentional relationship, positive associations, detox your circle, make a resolve to associate yourself with great minds this year.
If you’re finding it hard cutting off from certain people ask the help of God, as long as you’re genuine about it, He will help you break out from toxicity.
I trust God to help you in choosing the right circle this year.

Honestly that’s not going to be me most definitely, by His grace.
I have come to understand that really as cliche as it sounds no one is indispensable.
Carry the world on your head at your own risk.
Carry your job on your full chest at your own detriment.
The only thing you’re permitted to carry unashamedly is God.
Yes I always bring God into everything , like Duuurhh that’s not news.
So with that being said, take time out to take care of yourself.
Your mental health, your mind, your body, your akant (finance).
Be intentional about being at your best.
Bring your A game to every game.
Invest in yourself, learn a skill, read a book, treat yourself to something/somewhere nice, nobi only man money you go dey chop this year. Take a course, a solo trip, earn, save.
Look good every day, ladies wear makeup it doesn’t have to heavy, I got you, check my YouTube channel for “everyday makeup routine tutorial click on the ‘Youtube video ‘
Wear your hair nice, keep your nails clean, Reeeeeesssssstttttttt, this cannot be overly emphasized. Sleep , eat healthy.
Start that weight loss/fitness journey.
You would have yourself to thank at the end of the day.
The words are self improvement and Time management.
In these two add intentionality.
I think I have made my point, let me take a bow.
God is our combined strength.
See you in the next blog post.
Love yall Zino-P.

Well,
2021 was good to me, I recently went through my goals for 2021 and I can proudly say I achieved atleast 70%
And I’m super proud of myself, even though I don’t need a prophet to tell me I did not conquer the spirit of inconsistency, I have promised not to beat myself up.
I lost 2 of my loved ones (family) and honestly it took a toll on me, I’m honestly not trying to make any excuses, but here we are, here are you reading my first blog post soo….
It feels good to be writing again, and I really want to keep up this energy.
So what do you have planned for 2022?
Written new goals, long and short term?
Added to your bucket list?
Made resolutions?
I don’t know what you have planned out, I’m big on planning, “preparation they say is the mother of manifestation” so why not, make your vision board and make sure you run with it.
Most importantly this year let God come first. In every decision making process God first, in your day to day life, God first, in the seemingly unimportant and casual decisions you have to make, God first and watch Him align your life and fix everything pertaining to you. Remain blessed
Zino-P

In the fall of 1982, James Burke, the chairman of Johnson & Johnson, faced the biggest crisis of his career. J&J learned from a reporter that their flagship product, Tylenol, had been linked to seven poisoning deaths in the Chicago area. No one knew how or why the capsules had been poisoned, and Burke didn’t know how widespread the danger to the public might be.
What would you do?
The Bible suggests we should start the decision-making process by considering the potential consequences of our actions. Deuteronomy 28 shows that some actions bring blessings while others bring curses. What actions could Burke take to save his company from potential curses? How could he bless consumers and the Tylenol brand for the future?
Burke quickly considered the consequences of several strategies, with a focus on keeping customers safe. Though it cost Johnson & Johnson $100 million in the short term, Burke convinced J&J shareholders to recall all Tylenol capsules. Burke also directed an expensive media campaign to warn consumers against taking Tylenol until it was deemed safe again.
The effort was costly for Johnson & Johnson in the short term, but it saved the Tylenol brand in the long term. After J&J launched a new tamper-proof packaging, Tylenol quickly regained its lost market share. The public rewarded Burke for the trust he had built up during the crisis through his transparency and ethical decision-making.
When you face a tough ethical dilemma, think about the potential consequences of each of your choices. List all the consequences you can think of, both short term and long term. Does one choice yield more blessing?
Lord, give me your insight into the consequences of my choices. Guide me towards blessing and away from curses. Amen.
Information for today’s case study came from “Tylenol and the Legacy of J&J’s James Burke.” Time, 5 Oct. 2012, youbible
